What this tool does
Wordle gives you six attempts to identify one five-letter word. Green tiles confirm a letter and position, yellow tiles confirm a letter in another position, and grey tiles remove letters from consideration.
A smarter way to play
Use an opener with several common letters, then make each next guess resolve uncertainty. A useful guess can be better than a likely answer if it tests multiple remaining letters at once.
Tips for better results
Watch repeated letters. A grey copy does not always rule out a character when another copy is green or yellow. Keep confirmed letters in the position boxes so the solver preserves them.

The candidate list is a decision aid, not a daily-answer feed. It works entirely from the clues you enter and can also be used to study five-letter word patterns.
